US Leaders urge ceasefire and address Israeli-Iranian tensions – while Hezbollah attacks Israel

President Biden called for a ceasefire in Gaza on the anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks. At the same time, tensions with Iran and Hezbollah are escalating, with Israel responding to ongoing rocket attacks from Hezbollah and threats from Iran. The U.S. has offered military aid to Israel to prevent further strikes on Iranian targets, while Israeli officials maintain their right to defend themselves and respond as necessary.
