Following Iran’s large-scale missile assault on October 1, Israel’s Security Cabinet is now preparing to decide its response.

Since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, over 26,000 rockets, missiles, and drones have been fired at Israel by Iran and its allied militant groups. Israeli hostage Idan Shtivi, previously thought to be alive, was confirmed dead. Additionally, the war has led to the deaths of approximately 17,000 Hamas members and their relatives in Gaza, with significant damage to terrorist infrastructure across the region.
