Hezbollah Strike Kills Four, Sukkah built in Gaza and Hamas Blocks Civilian Evacuations
Hezbollah’s drone strike on an IDF training base near Binyamina resulted in the deaths of four Israeli soldiers, with dozens more wounded. Meanwhile, IDF soldiers constructed the first sukkah in Gaza since 2005 in preparation for the Sukkot holiday. Additionally, Hamas terrorists are reportedly preventing civilians in Jabalia from evacuating to safer areas, using violence to block their movement.
Hamas hijacks aid, Hezbollah strikes Israel, and Israel’s response to Iran attack
Hamas was filmed hijacking nearly half of a humanitarian aid convoy entering Gaza, taking supplies intended for civilians. Once again, Hezbollah launched another rocket attack from Lebanon, striking northern Israel, killing two and wounding several others. Following Iran’s large-scale missile assault on October 1, Israel’s Security Cabinet is now preparing to decide its response.
My October 8 Epiphany and Israel’s Future

I had no idea my son was in one of the communities along the Gaza border, fighting terrorists who were still trying to kill Israelis. A year ago, I continued with business as usual. Things had changed, so though we had no idea how much so.

The U.S. has offered military aid to Israel to prevent further strikes on Iranian targets, while Israeli officials maintain their right to defend themselves and respond as necessary.
Reflections upon the Anniversary of October 7th
Our staff got together to discuss planning how to commemorate the first anniversary of October 7th. Nothing we came up with seemed appropriately meaningful to mark such a massive trauma, that we are still reeling from. There were no words to convey our raw emotions
