Yishai Fleisher is running for Knesset. In this conversation with Rabbi Tuly Weisz, the Jerusalem broadcaster and longtime Zionist activist makes it official: he has been added to the Otzma Yehudit slate and will run on Itamar Ben Gvir’s list in the coming Israeli elections. It is his first time on a major list after twenty five years of trying, and he lays out what he wants to bring to Israeli politics: a Zionism rooted in the Bible, the Anglo and diaspora vote, and an honest answer to a question millions of Christians have been asking for years.

Four years ago Yishai hired a lobbyist to push something almost no one thought mattered. He wanted Route 60, the road running north to south through the biblical heartland past Shechem, Shiloh, Beit El, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Hebron, officially renamed Derech HaTanach, the Biblical Highway. It passed. He explains why a road sign is a national strategy, why Israelis do not know the book of Genesis, and why the Ministry of Tourism spent decades selling beaches instead of the land of the Bible.

Then the conversation turns to the part almost nobody says out loud. Yishai argues that Judaism has no real offering for the non-Jew who loves the God of Israel. He calls the Noahide framework a branding failure and proposes an Abrahamic path instead: houses of worship that face Jerusalem, follow the Jewish calendar, and give Bible-loving Christians a spiritual home without asking them to convert. Rabbi Tuly pushes back with a different biblical category, the Ger Toshav, and the two work out what a Ger Toshav visa to the State of Israel could look like.

They also cover Ben Gvir’s record as Minister of National Security, the expansion of gun permits, prison policy, and why so many Western Jews are uncomfortable with his style.
