Ari Ben Yam was serving as a volunteer for the IDF in his city of Katsrin when the sirens sounded. He ducked behind his car when a Hezbollah rocket exploded close to where he lay. When he stood up, he realized that his car had absorbed a lethal amount of shrapnel.
