In a powerful display of unity and determination, Jewish and Christian leaders made history by holding an unprecedented prayer service at Judaism’s holiest site, the Temple Mount, praying for the inauguration of Donald Trump. This groundbreaking gathering directly challenged the discriminatory status quo that has long prevented Jews from freely worshipping at their most sacred site.
Organized by Rabbi Tuly Weisz of Israel365, the prayer service was led by Israeli pop singer Yair Levi, it including leading members of the Belz Hasidic community, as well as former Likud member of Knesset, Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who offered a stirring prayer for President Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
The gathering received strong support from Christian leaders as well. Five Christian representatives from both the veteran Evangelical organization “Bridges For Peace” in Jerusalem as well as the advocacy organization “Cry For Zion” participated.
John Enarson, the Christian Relations Director of Cry For Zion led in prayer for the Christian delegation, praying that Trump would recognize the Temple Mount as the heart of the Jewish capital of Israel.
