America Chose Evil on Tuesday. Will Your Church Say So?

Pastors, what will you preach this Sunday? This message is for every pastor and Christian leader in America in the wake of Tuesday’s election.

The real story of this election is not which party won or lost. The real story is that tens of millions of Americans looked at candidates who openly hate Israel and the Jewish people, who defend terrorists and cheer for Hezbollah, and voted for them gladly. Then the Vice President of the United States stood up the morning after and gave reasons for his party’s loss that pointed straight at Israel.

This is not a political problem a better campaign can fix. It is a sickness of the soul. A nation that once lived by the Bible can no longer tell the difference between Hamas and Israel, between the murderer and the murdered, between good and evil.

In this video, I speak as an Israeli and as the grandson of two American soldiers who fought in World War II, one of them nearly killed at the Battle of the Bulge. I love what America was, and I refuse to stay silent as it collapses.

We look at what the Bible actually says about the rise and fall of nations. God promised only one nation that it would last forever (Jeremiah 31). Every other nation, America included, lives under a condition: “At one moment I may speak about a nation, to build it and to plant it. But if it does evil in My eyes, and does not listen to My voice, then I relent of the good I had promised to do for it” (Jeremiah 18:9-10). Rome and Babylon learned that lesson too late.

If America is saved, it will not start in Washington. It will start in thousands of churches this Sunday morning, with pastors who have the courage to name evil, open the Bible, and call their people back to God.
