On the anniversary of Kristallnacht, Rabbi Tuly Weisz, founder of Israel365, asks why the world has not learned its lessons. In 1938, the world stayed silent as German mobs destroyed synagogues. After October 7, crowds openly cheered for Hamas. Rabbi Weisz draws three lessons for the faith community: October 7 exposed the true face of Hamas, just as Kristallnacht exposed the Nazis; Jews are not safe in exile and belong in the Land God promised them; and “evil spreads when good people are silent.” He calls on Jews and Christians to stand together and come to Israel now, “so that one day you can tell your children that when Israel needed you… you said I will go to Israel.”
