After delays and a strong public objection from the President elect Donald Trump, outgoing President Barack Obama takes a parting shot at Israel by abstaining from a UN Security Council vote that declares Jewish housing in Biblical parts of Israel illegal.

United Nations Set to Vote on Yet Another Anti-Israel Resolution

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is expected to vote on Thursday afternoon, New York time, on a draft resolution presented by Egypt demanding that Israel “immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem.”
