Why Islamists hate the West and feminism

September 1, 2024

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Vienna were canceled because of a planned ISIS terror attack. One of the suspects was a 19-year-old who had recently pledged his allegiance to ISIS after being radicalized on TikTok. The thwarted attack was symbolic of Islamism’s rejection of Western values, and Western women.

On this week’s episode of The Philos Project Podcast, Dominique is joined by Hannah Garces to discuss the clash of civilizations between the West and the Islamic world as support for Islamic fundamentalism becomes more widespread. Hannah speaks to the radicalization of Gen Z on TikTok, and the implications this will have on the elections, college campuses this fall, and the West at large.

The international attention Swift’s concert cancelations garnered starkly contrasts the media’s silence over the horrific massacre at the Nova Music Festival on 10/7. This week’s episode is about more than a canceled concert, it is about the war on the West, the radicalization of our youth, and rampant antisemitism in the media.
