Twenty days into Operation Roaring Lion, the gap between what is actually happening in the Middle East and what most commentary is equipped to explain has never been wider. Today, Tuesday, March 17, Israel365 is hosting a webinar that closes that gap.

The Iran War as the Dawn of Universal Zionism features three speakers: MK Ohad Tal, a former Israeli intelligence officer, Adv. Sagiv Asulin and Rabbi Tuly Weisz, author of Universal Zionism, who together bring a level of strategic, intelligence and theological insight that no television panel or news analysis has assembled in one place. The webinar takes place at 8:00 PM Israel time | 2:00 PM EDT | 1:00 PM CDT.

What that combination of voices offers is worth explaining.

MK Ohad Tal is a member of Israel’s Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee — the body through which Israel’s elected officials receive classified briefings, oversee military and intelligence operations, and shape the nation’s strategic direction. He is one of the Knesset’s most active voices in building relationships with Christian and pro-Israel communities abroad, appearing regularly on Israel365 News and framing the Jewish-Christian relationship as a shared battle for Judeo-Christian values against common threats.

In 2025, Tal was among the MKs who spent the most time abroad on public diplomacy — holding events with former US Ambassador David Friedman to promote Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, and engaging pro-Israel Christian audiences across multiple countries. On Iran, he has argued for total victory against Iranian-backed terror groups from a time when that position drew criticism. The fact that Israel and the United States are now executing exactly that policy is not lost on anyone who has followed his work.

Adv. Sagiv Asulin is a former senior officer and operations commander in Israel’s security forces, now serving as an expert on Iran, influence operations, and strategic perception at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs. Iran has never been only a military threat. It has always operated on multiple layers — terror proxies, information warfare, religious legitimacy claims, and the careful cultivation of international sympathy. Asulin’s career has been devoted to understanding those layers from the inside, and his current work focuses specifically on engaging global partners — including faith communities — to counter Iranian malign influence. He sits at the precise intersection of intelligence and diplomacy that this moment demands.

Rabbi Tuly Weisz is the founder of Israel365, which has spent over a decade building one of the most significant Jewish-Christian bridges in the world — more than 300,000 subscribers, The Israel Bible, and now Universal Zionism, his new book arguing that the alliance between Jews and Christians emerging from the ashes of October 7th is not a political coalition but a civilizational one.

Rabbi Weisz is not a pundit analyzing the war from a distance. He has spent his career constructing the exact kind of Jewish-Christian partnership that he argues is now coming into its own — and he believes the events of the past three weeks are not a detour from that story. They are the next chapter.

The military scoreboard is available everywhere. What Tuesday’s webinar will provide is something harder to find: the strategic logic behind the campaign, the intelligence context for what Iran’s weakening actually means, and the larger question of where this moment sits in the sweep of history — from three people who are not guessing.

The webinar takes place tonight, Tuesday, March 17 at 8:00 PM Israel | 2:00 PM EDT | 1:00 PM CDT.
