British right-wing activist Tommy Robinson was denied entry into the Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Avi Yemini, a Jewish Israeli political commentator for Rebel News, and Ridvan Aydemir, a Turkish-origin former Muslim YouTuber, accompanied Robinson.
At the mosque’s entrance, a Palestinian guard asked for his identification and faith. Robinson claimed, “Yes, I am Muslim.” The guard then asked him to recite Surah Al-Fatiha to prove it — a request Robinson could not fulfill. His companion, Ridvan Aydemi,r then stepped in and recited the Surah fluently in Arabic.
Following this, the guards allowed only Aydemir to enter the mosque while denying Robinson entry. Robinson then asks, “Is there a place that’s only for Christians?” After which, another Waqf guard explains that “for political reasons, non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the mosque.”
Robinson toured the site of the Jewish Temples with former MK, Rabbi Yehudah Glick.
