In the days to come, The Mount of Hashem‘s House Shall stand firm above the mountains And tower above the hills; And all the nations Shall gaze on it with joy.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett attends a Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee meeting at the Knesset

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett spoke about the situation on the Temple Mount on Tuesday. “It can not be that one month out of the year, an entire country is walking on eggshells because they are worried that an extremist group will ignite the entire Middle East,” Bennett said while addressing the security and foreign policy committee.

“As of now, we have ten months to determine how to stabilize the situation next year,” he added.

In the closed segments of the meeting, Bennett said that Israel’s policy is one of zero violence for Palestinian violence and terror. Bennett added that he’s like to encourage their quality of life economically “as much as possible while considering security factors.”

He added that there is no solution to the Palestinian issue but wants to improve their infrastructure and the number of checkpoints “that will maybe decrease the number of illegal aliens.”

The 2022 month of Ramadan (April 2-May 1) was marred with violent Arab riots on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israel365 News reported that the Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem District called on Palestinians “to come to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque… and defend it against the [Jewish] extremists and their aspirations to violate its sanctity.”
