Two police officers were moderately injured after being stabbed on Monday by a terrorist at an entrance to the Temple Mount.
In response, the police shot the terrorist, eventually killing him after wrestling with him on the ground. The incident took place at the Cutna (Cotton) gate of the Temple Mount. Both officers injured in the attack are each in their twenties.
.This attack follows another stabbing attack that took place on the previous day.
Paramedics that arrived on the scene witnessed fellow police officers tending to their injured coworkers. The Magen David Adom paramedics initiated first aid and evacuated them to the Western Wall Plaza and eventually to a local hospital.
