Lebanon’s military Intelligence unit opened an investigation into a new phenomenon of Stars of David being spray-painted on the main highway next to the city of Zahle, east of Beirut. The investigators are trying to determine who the vandal/s are according to Now 14.

The phenomenon of Stars of David being drawn throughout Lebanon is driving the Lebanese army “crazy” after they deployed a unit to erase the paint from the asphalt. But the “vandals” keep painting it all over again in a game of cat and mouse that has been going on all week, according to the report. The Jewish symbol has created a storm on social media in Lebanon, with many speculating that the campaign is designed to haunt Hezbollah.

The appearance of the Stars of David came several days after Hezbollah released a video of their alpine unit, which shows them firing at targets with a Star of David on them. The Iran-backed terror group’s elite “Reduan” unit also reportedly trains on targets with a Star of David on them. The team is supposed to be the ones who lead their much-desired conquest of Israel’s north in an upcoming war.
