Police evict MK Ben-Gvir from Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood, beat him unconscious

After right-wing MK Itamar Ben-Gvir set up his headquarters in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood, the police were ordered to dismantle it.

In the process, the right-wing MK was knocked unconscious by the police at the scene. Ben-Gvir established his HQ there as a statement against the ongoing terror that the local residents suffer including an arson attack on a family home. The Jewish community in the neighborhood complain that the police have abandoned their security. Upon his arrival, scuffles broke out between local Jews and Arabs.

The eviction process turned violent after police violated the law of Knesset immunity and assaulted the Knesset Member knocking him unconscious. Ben-Gvir was evacuated to a local hospital to recover from a head wound.

An adamant Ben-Gvir vowed to return to the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood to re-establish his headquarters.

Internal Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev, who is in charge of the Israeli police, tried to blame the victim accusing Ben Gvir of assaulting the police. Ben-Gvir responded, calling Bar-Lev a “nobody” and demanding his resignation.

In an act of provocation, Arab MK Ahmed Tibi visited Ben-Gvir’s headquarters in Shimon Hatzadik, as seen in the video below:

Former Internal Security Minister and MK Amir Ohana visited Ben-Gvir’s new headquarters in a show of solidarity. Ohana made a statement to Israel365 News in the video below:
