In December 2021, Arab terrorists carried out a shooting attack targeting Jews driving in a car near Shavei Shomron in Samaria. They succeeded in murdering 25-year old Yehuda Dimentman, a husband and father to a nine-month-old son David.Â
David will now grow up as an orphan without a father as the violence of terrorism will likely forever haunt his small innocent soul.
Luckily for David Dimentman, one organization is there to help.
That’s because the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund (SICF) has established the healing infrastructure necessary for young Israeli kids like David, who sadly was traumatized by this horrific terror act.Â
SICF heals children through its main integrative educational-therapeutic campus, providing a wide range of therapy to children in Samaria whose lives were cruelly impacted by Arab terror, helping them to cope with this daily trauma that has been forced upon them. Be it sensory therapy or animal-assisted therapy, the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund has earned the reputation of being a silver lining to parents of children affected by terror.
The organization was founded by David Rubin, who along with his young son, was a victim of a gruesome terrorist shooting attack.
And while it is often the physical trauma from terror attacks that makes the headlines, in many cases, the psychological trauma is just as harmful…if not worse. Rubin’s organization serves as a type of hospital for those invisible injuries.
That’s why it is so important that organizations like Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund exist. To learn more about how you can get involved with helping to heal Israel’s victims of terror, click here.Â
