Turkey arrested 15 alleged Mossad agents who are suspected of operating inside its territory, the Turkish daily Sabah reported on Thursday. Sabah is a pro-government news outlet and has been frequently called a propaganda arm of the Turkish government
According to the report, the suspects were arrested a month ago and have relayed information to the Mossad on Turkish citizens as well as foreign students studying in Turkey.
The report claims that the suspects provided information on students who are likely to work in the defense sector.
The duration of the arrest operation lasted one year. The suspects are expected to be indicted, the report also added.
