Deputy mayor of Jerusalem Aryeh King railed against the UK government accusing them of aiding and abetting Israel’s enemies from the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood of Jerusalem.
“Did you know that in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood of Jerusalem a consulate is working to aid our enemies? A consulate that stands with our enemies fighting our soldiers in Gaza and our brothers in Judea and Samaria? And it is all being done from inside Jerusalem…The British Consulate of Jerusalem” King posted on his Facebook page.
The deputy Mayer was referring to the consulate’s recent visit to the ancient Jewish town of Susiya which is now illegally occupied by Arab squatters.

The solidarity visit resulted in the UK calling for the prosecution of residents of Judea and Samaria who UK Deputy Consul General Alison McEwen claims are showing “aggression.”
She witnessed disturbing examples of settler aggression against the Palestinian community, resulting in injuries. The community must be protected from violence and harassment, and those responsible held accountable. 2/2
