Israel isn’t the only thing Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib seeks to shut down.
In a recent tweet, the Democrat and self-identified ‘Palestinian’ called on governments throughout the United States to defund their police departments saying: “Know that it’s still both, but don’t let the “who” overshadow the decades of structural racism that has created the system that allows police officer after police officer off the hook for murder. I just want us to dig deeper so that the #DefundPolice movement isn’t brushed aside.”

The ‘defund police’ movement is a nationwide movement that is gaining traction among leftist and anarchists. The movement calls on local governments to abolish their police departments via economic sanctions.
And in case there was any doubt about Tlaib’s intention to completely defund the police, the congresswoman doubled down saying that “There is real validity in dismantling the current racist system that has led to this pain.”

By “racist system:, Tlaib is referring to police departments across the US.
This trend of defunding the police has also been demanded of Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey at a recent rally where he declared that the “systemic racist system needs to be revamped.” But despite his commitment to police reform, the protesters demanded he completely defund the Minneapolis police department entirely. When Frey refused, he was thrown out of the rally to jeers of “Go home Jacob!” and “shame!”

It appears as though the the mob, along with politicians like Tlaib, will not be satiated until there are no more police in America to keep people safe.
