During their family vacation to the island of Hawaii this week, Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, made sure to keep with their Jewish tradition in lighting the Hanukkah menorah together with their children.

Trump posted a picture to Facebook of the family gathered around their lit hannukiahs on the first night of the Jewish holiday, which fell out on Saturday night December 24, coinciding with Christmas eve.

Wrote Trump, “This year is one of the rare and special occasions where Hanukkah and Christmas coincide. As we light the candles, sending love from our family to yours this holiday season! Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah! #happyholidays”.

The display of Jewish pride from the daughter of president-elect Donald Trump evoked numerous positive responses in the comments section of Ivanka’s post.

“Beautiful family! Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah! Ivanka you are a great and classy example to all young girls and women! Keep it up! XO,” wrote one user.

Said another, “Such a wonderful gift your father and your whole family have given us! I can’t begin to tell you how thankful we are. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!”

The Kushner family’s getaway at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai will be their final vacation before they become the first family following Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
