Hadar Buchris, 21, from the city of Safed was murdered shortly after 15:00 PM on Sunday, November 22, after she was stabbed in her head by a Palestinian terrorist at the Gush Etzion Junction, south of Jerusalem.

IDF soldiers were questioning a Palestinian man they suspected at the junction, when he suddenly ran past the soldiers and stabbed Buchris, who was standing nearby. He stabbed her in the head and upper body, leaving her very seriously wounded.

Buchris, resident of Safed in northern Israel, was evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem in a very serious and unstable condition, and died of her wounds shortly after.

The terrorist, identified as 34-year-old Issam Thawabta from Beit Fajjar near Bethlehem, was shot and killed at the scene by IDF forces.

Magen David Adom paramedic Zaki Yahav, who arrived first at the scene, said: “On the pavement next to the bus stop laid a girl about 20 years of age, unconscious with stab wounds in her upper body. Civilians had already started to help stop the (victim’s) bleeding. We quickly put her into an intensive care ambulance and transported her to the hospital, while providing her with life-saving treatment.”

Hadar Buchris is the sixth victim to be murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the last 72 hours. In the most recent terror wave, 20 Israelis have been murdered and 200 injured.

In related news, two terror attacks were thwarted earlier on Sunday morning, November 22 in Judea and Samaria by IDF forces.
