“Fast” is usually not a word associated with the ancient city of Jerusalem. But on June 13th and 14th, that changed in an instant as sleek Formula One cars zipped through the streets of Israel’s capital. Even though it wasn’t an official race, the Formula One Jerusalem Peace Road Show succeeded in exciting the Jews, Christians and Muslims who crowded around the route. As some of the world’s fastest and most beautiful cars sped past the Old City walls and climbed the hills of Jerusalem, motor-sport fans went wild and newcomers were electrified by this historic event.
