On Monday, ten staff members from the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem joined with fifteen elderly Holocaust Survivors in Haifa to pack hundreds of holiday boxes for needy survivors this coming Passover.

The gift packages included wine, matzah, meat and generous amounts of other food items for the Pesach (Passover) seder meal.

The Holocaust survivors assisting with today’s holiday baskets reside at the special retirement home for needy survivors in Haifa operated jointly by the ICEJ and Yad Ezer L’Haver, an Israeli charity.

Together, they will be feeding hundreds of poor Holocaust survivors and other elderly Israelis this Passover week, which begins next Monday, April 10th.
