Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem Injures One, Terrorist Escapes

Emergency officials respond to the scene of a stabbing at a Jerusalem light rail station

In the second terror attack of the day, a Israeli man was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack on Barazani Street in Jerusalem’s Armon Hanaziv neighborhood. The attacker escaped and is on the loose.

The terrorist fled to the nearby Arab neighborhood of Sur Baher. A manhunt is currently underway to find him.

Earlier on Sunday, a female IDF soldier was shot by a sniper near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, and the shooter also escaped. Security forces are still in pursuit. The victim was moderately wounded and evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital.
