Six Hebrew words. Jews have said them every morning and every night for thousands of years. Children whisper them at bedtime. Martyrs cried them out at the end. And now you can wear them on your hand.
Sh’ma Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”
If you have ever wanted to carry the heart of the Bible with you, this is where it starts.
The words come from Deuteronomy 6:4. Jews call this verse the Shema, Hebrew for “hear,” and it is the first prayer many Jewish children learn and the last words a faithful Jew hopes to say.
Why your hand?
Because God said so. Four verses after the Shema, the Bible tells us exactly where these words belong: “And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand” (Deuteronomy 6:8). Jewish men fulfill that command every weekday morning with tefillin, small leather boxes holding the Shema, bound to the arm so they rest against the heart.
Your hand is how you live your faith. It is the hand you give with, build with, write with and hold your children with. Scripture puts God’s words on the hand so they shape what you do, not only what you think.
A ring is also the piece of jewelry you see for yourself. It sits right in your line of sight all day, on the steering wheel, on the keyboard, folded in prayer. Every glance is a quiet reminder of who you belong to.

And a ring has always meant covenant. Pharaoh placed his signet ring on Joseph’s hand to show whose authority he carried. A wedding band tells the world you made a promise. The Song of Songs puts it most beautifully: “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death” (Song of Songs 8:6). A Shema ring is that seal, worn on purpose.
Hebrew facing the world, English facing you
The Shema Yisrael Ring from the Israel365 Store is engraved in bold Hebrew letters around the outside of the band. The full English translation runs along the inside.
Think about what that means. The world sees the ancient Hebrew, the language God spoke to Moses. You feel the meaning pressed against your skin all day long. It is a declaration on the outside and a reminder on the inside.
The ring is made in Israel from solid 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, which gives it a bright finish built for everyday wear. The 6 mm band has a comfort-fit interior, comes in sizes 5 to 14, and suits men and women alike. It arrives in a Faith Jewelry gift box, ready for a bar or bat mitzvah, an anniversary, or the moment someone you love makes a commitment of faith.
Hear. Then wear it.
The Shema begins with a command to listen. So listen. In a world that shouts a thousand messages a day, these six words still cut through: there is one God, and He is the God of Israel.
Put them on your hand. Look down at them in traffic, in a hospital waiting room, at your kitchen sink. Let them do what Moses meant them to do.
The Shema Yisrael Ring is available now at the Israel365 Store. And while you are there, explore the whole faith jewelry collection, rings, pendants and pieces engraved with your own Hebrew name.
