Tucker Carlson: “accuser of the brethren”

When I heard Tucker Carlson’s accusations against Israel, even claiming they are not legitimate Jews, the first Bible verse that came to my mind was Revelation 12: 10, in which Satan is called the “accuser of the brethren.” The Jewish people are the People of the Book, our elder brothers, patriarchs and matriarchs in the faith, and Satan accuses them as well as Bible-believing Christians day and night according to that Bible verse.

So in light of Carlson’s touchdown at Israel’s airport to confront America’s ambassador to Israel, who is right concerning Israel, the unhinged journalist or Ambassador Mike Huckabee?

Or shouldn’t we ask God’s opinion on the matter as stated in the Bible?

The modern nation of Israel is a direct fulfillment of biblical prophecies concerning the regathering and restoration of the Jewish people to their ancestral land after centuries of exile.

In Ezekiel 36:24-28, God promised the Jewish people, “For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land… I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you,” depicting a physical return which will be followed by the Geulah, spiritual redemption.

Similarly, Isaiah 11:11-12 foretells that “the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people… and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”

This aligns with the establishment of Israel in 1948, following the dispersion that was prophesied in Deuteronomy 28:64 and fulfilled historically through catastrophic events such as the Roman exile in AD 70 and the Holocaust.

However, the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 12:1-3 and 17:7-8 guarantees an everlasting promise of land ownership to Abraham’s descendants through Isaac and Jacob, which God reaffirmed as unbreakable (Jeremiah 31:35-37).

Israel’s miraculous comeback is part of the Almighty’s sovereign plan—whether or not the nations or individuals like Tucker Carlson and the mullahs approve.

To deny this fulfillment of Bible prophecy would be to oppose God’s declared purposes, as Scripture warns against resisting His will.

In Romans 11:1-2, the Apostle Paul asked, “Has God cast away His people? Certainly not!” emphasizing that God has not rejected Israel but has a future for them, including a central role in End-times events.

Since the Bible portrays Israel’s regathering as divinely orchestrated, rejecting Israel risks aligning against the God who swore by His holiness to accomplish it (Ezekiel 36:22-23), potentially hindering recognition of His faithfulness and redemptive timeline.

Haughtily fighting against Israel’s restoration echoes the principle in the New Testament in Acts 5:38-39, where the esteemed rabbi Gamaliel advised, “If this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

Indeed, Gamaliel’s counsel captures the gravity of standing against God’s hand at work. Acts 5:39 still hits hard: and so I say to Tucker Carlson and all other anti-Semites concerning Israel, “you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”
