At a recent press conference, White House spokesperson Jen Psaki addressed the issue of gender reassignment surgery and puberty blockers for adolescents, warning that the federal government intended to step in to reverse that legislation.

“Last item for you before we get to your questions,” Psaki said. “Across the country, as we’ve talked about a bit in here, Republican elected officials are engaging in the disturbing, cynical trend of attacking vulnerable transgender kids for purely partisan political reasons.”

“Today, in Alabama, instead of focusing on critical kitchen table issues like the economy, Covid or addressing the country’s mental health crisis, Republican lawmakers are currently debating legislation that, among many things, would target trans youths with tactics that threaten to put pediatricians in prison if they provide medically necessary life-saving health care for the kids they serve,” she claimed.

“Just like the extreme government overreach we’ve seen in Texas, where politicians have sent state officials into the homes of loving parents to investigate them for abuse just to harass and intimidate the LGBTQI+ community, today’s vote in Alabama will only serve to harm kids,” she continued.

The term ‘LGBTQI+’ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex. It should be noted that the acronym is absurdly redundant and lumps together social groups with diverse and frequently divergent interests and needs. The term ‘queer’ is a derogatory expression for homosexuals, and it is unclear how or when it became fit for public use. Intersex is a term created by the UN  High Commissioner for Human Rights that refers to a person who was either born with sex characteristics that do not entirely conform to a single gender or who believes their body is not their correct gender. The plus sign allows for more gender classifications to be added in the future.

“But Alabama’s lawmakers and other legislators who are contemplating these discriminatory bills have been put on notice by the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services that laws and policies preventing care that health care professionals recommend for transgender minors may violate the Constitution and the federal law.”

Psaki is referring to Alabama passing HB322 26Y – 5N, the nation’s first bill in over eight years that bans ‘transgender’ self-identification from being used as a pretext to enter an opposite-sex bathroom. On April 3rd, Arizona banned ‘gender reassignment surgery for minors.

It is also unclear under what Constitutional mandate gender reassignment treatments are required. In fact, opponents of the Arkansas House Bill 1570 (HB 1570), also known as the Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act, claiming it discriminates against people based on gender. This claim is clearly inaccurate on every level.

“To be clear, every major medical association agrees that gender-affirming health care for transgender kids is the best practice and potentially lifesaving,” she claimed. “All of this begs an important question: What are these policies actually trying to solve for? LGBTQI+ people can’t be erased or forced back into any closets, and kids across our nation should be allowed to be who they are without the threat that their parents or doctor could be imprisoned simply for helping them and loving them.”

Psaki’s claim is grossly inaccurate.  A 30-year study in Sweden showed that 10-15 years after surgical reassignment, the suicide rate of those who had undergone sex-reassignment surgery rose to 20 times that of comparable peers. A similar study by  Birmingham University’s Aggressive Research Intelligence Facility concluded that none of the studies provides conclusive evidence that gender reassignment is beneficial for patients.

Puberty blockers are being used so that their makers did not intend, and the effects have not been studied. Using them in this manner can render the teens sterile for life. This is also true of gender reassignment surgery.

“President Biden has committed, in both words and actions, to fight for all Americans and will not hesitate to hold these states accountable,” she said.

The Biden administration has pushed a very strong transgender agenda. Last week, in a speech  on  International Transgender Day, a day that he instituted, President Biden rewrote the Bible, claiming that transgenders were “made in the image of God.”

A recent controversy pitting the Disney corporation against Florida legislation that prohibits teaching gender issues in K-third grade revealed the corporation’s  “not-at-all-secret gay agenda,” which will present a majority of identifiably homosexual characters in the children’s movies.

Gender reassignment is explicitly against Torah law and has been referred to by prominent rabbis as damaging to the individual and an abomination.
