Bennett warns of war against ‘Lebanon or Gaza’

When you take the field against your enemies, and see horses and chariots—forces larger than yours—have no fear of them, for Hashem your God, who brought you from the land of Egypt, is with you.

Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett holds a press conference about the Covid-19

Is Bennett beating the drums of war to prevent new elections?

For the first time since becoming Prime Minister, PM Naftali Bennett met with the external security committee of the Knesset. During the closed-door meeting, it was reported that Israel has changed its strategy against Iran to target the “head of the octopus”, or the regime in Tehran reports Ynet.

The Prime Minister also said that Israel will have to enter an armed conflict against Lebanon or Gaza. He added that Israel’s strong economy enables the IDF to prepare for such a scenario in addition to changing the strategy against Iran.

Bennett also said that there is no intention to negotiate with the Palestinian Authority at this time. He added that Israel’s interest is to maintain stability in Judea and Samaria and Gaza.
