Yigal Dilmoni, the head of the Yesha Council representing the Jewish communities of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley, spoke at an emergency session in the Knesset concerning illegal Arab construction in Area C. 

“Next week we are going to approve more housing units for Palestinians in Area C,” Dilmoni said. “There can be no explanation for the Palestinians getting building permits and also being allowed to continue to build illegally. We want to stop that, and condition building permits on stopping terrorism and refraining from stealing land. This is a silent war for strategic homeland areas and for the control of the authority. Instead of fighting, this is met with silence, silence from the Civil Administration and silence from the government. We ask members of the Knesset and the government to declare this illegal takeover ofl and as terrorism and act accordingly. “

The head of Binyamin regional council, Israel Ganz, accused the Civil Administration of enforcing policies that are prejudiced against Jews. 

“The Civil Administration is establishing the state of Palestine,” Ganz was quoted as saying in Israeli media. “Responsibility for this area must pass to the State of Israel. The Civil Administration discriminates against Jews and allows Arabs to do as they please.”

“A military body is not suitable for the task of law enforcement, and in practice forces Jews from their homes and leaves the land to a foreign power. The prime minister must act today and transfer the responsibility for law enforcement to those authorities capable of carrying out that responsibility, and away from a military that is not.”
