Former New York assemblyman and pro-Israel activist Dov Hikind was forcibly removed by campus police after he challenged Democratic congresswoman Rashida Tlaib over her antisemitism during a speech at Rutgers University on Sunday. The event was hosted by Muslims for Peace, Inc.
As Hikind stood up to question Tlaib about her antisemitism, several students from Muslims for Peace surrounded him and accosted the former assemblyman until the campus police arrived to escort him out of the hall. After Hikind was forced out, the crowed cheered “Rashida!”
Hikind took to Facebook summarizing the event saying: “Police just ejected me from an event of Muslims for Peace, Inc. atĀ Rutgers University which was a fine event until Rashida Tlaib showed up. I challenged her about her antisemitism and spreading of an anti-Jewish blood libel! She had no answer for me.”
He concluded saying “They will never silence us!”
Hikind, who was there representing Americans Against Antisemitism, made another video explaining the context of his confrontation with the freshmen congresswoman.
