Just before noon on Saturday, a Palestinian woman attempted to stab a Haredi Jewish man in Jerusalem near the Damascus Gate of the Old City. The man managed to escape without injury, and the woman continued in her attack, stabbing a 31-year-old Arab man in the shoulder, injuring him lightly. Security forces subdued the woman and arrested her without injury.
An initial police investigation indicates that the assailant came with an intention the carry out an attack. The terrorist was a 29-year-old mother of five who has Israeli Citizenship and lives in the Sur Baher neighborhood of Jerusalem.
