Lebanon-based terror organization Hezbollah has located an Israeli drone that crashed on the Lebanon side of the border, and is currently inspecting it, Hezbollah sources revealed on Tuesday.

The IDF confirmed that the drone, a tactical Skylark UAV, went down on Monday near the border; Hezbollah-affiliated media network Al-Manar said that it had fallen near the southern border town of Alma Shaab.

Israel asked the UN’s Lebanese body, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), to help locate the drone after it crashed. According to reports, UNIFIL forces searched for the craft but did not find it.

The Lebanese Army also attempted to reach the drone but was thwarted by rough terrain, and Hezbollah eventually retrieved it. Al Manar reported that it was taken to a secure location to be examined.
