Jerusalem Stabbing Attack Injures Two IDF Soldiers

A terror attack at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City left two IDF Border Policemen injured, with stab wounds to the upper body. A Palestinian woman passing by was lightly injured in the leg by shrapnel.

A police statement reported, “A terrorist attacked a squad of officers from behind, stabbed and wounded them lightly, the squad responded with fire and neutralized the terrorist”.

The terrorist was identified as Mohammed Abu Khalaf, 20, from Kafr ‘Aqab in northern Jerusalem.

The Damascus Gate has been the scene of 11 terror attacks during the last five months.
