The Israel Air Force (IAF) conducted airstrikes against military targets inside Gaza on Sunday night in response to rockets fired at Israel around 11 pm that night.

Two rockets were fired at Israel, but one landed inside of Gaza. The other rocket landed in an open field in the Eshkol region. No injuries or damage were reported.

Witnesses reported at least four IAF airstrikes and drones circling the area. No Palestinian casualties were reported.

The Salafist Omar Brigade, a group affiliated with the Islamic State, has claimed responsibility for the attack against Israel however it is the Israeli policy to hold Hamas responsible for any attacks.
