Terrorist Stabs IDF Soldiers, Shot Dead on Scene

Two IDF soldiers were attacked by Palestinian terrorists in an attack Wednesday morning.

The attack took place in the Binyamin region of Samaria near the town of Shilo at around 10 am.

The location of the attack is just north of the Palestinian city of Ramallah on Route 60, a main highway, and near the village of Turmas Aya.

One soldier, 20, was critically injured by a Palestinian terrorist after being stabbed in the neck. The second soldier sustained minor injuries and is in stable condition.

Both victims received emergency treatment on site by Magen David Adom paramedics and were airlifted to a Jerusalem hospital.

The terrorists was shot dead by IDF troops, Israel Radio reported. It is believed that three other Palestinians were involved in the attacks.

The IDF is combing the area nearby in search for the three terrorists that fled.

Wednesday’s attack comes after an IDF soldier was stabbed by a Palestinian near the security barrier last week. The soldier was able to overcome his attacker despite his injuries.

The terrorist was taken into custody and interrogated by Israeli authorities.
