WATCH: IAF Rescues Injured Golani Soldier from Gaza

The IDF released a video showing a brave and daring rescue operation of an injured IDF soldier during Operation Protective Edge.

The wounded soldier was a member of the prestigious Golani Brigade operating deep inside the Gaza Strip.

Members of the Israeli Air Force’s 124th Squadron, also known as the Rolling Sword Squadron, were tasked with carrying out the evacuation. The Rolling Sword’s fly into hot-zones with S-70A and UH-60A Black Hawk helicopters.

“It doesn’t matter how dangerous the situation is, we get our wounded soldiers out,” said Lt. Col. Guy.
