Terrorists Kidnap Israeli Teens and the World is Silent

June 15, 2014

Three teenagers – Eyal Yifrah 19, Gilad Shaer 16, and Naftali Frenkel, 16, were kidnapped on Thursday night in Israel by a terrorist organization.  Frenkel is an American.

So far, more than 48 hours later, the United Nations has not uttered a word, nor has any human rights organization, nor any European country.

The Palestinian Arabs responded on social media justifying the kidnappings, as Gaza residents cheered the terrorists on the streets passing out candy (as they did post 9/11.)

The entire world has been silent as these kids were kidnapped.

Meanwhile, Israelis launched a social media campaign on Twitter entitled #BringBackOurBoys.  That hashtag was based on the recent viral #BringBackOurGirls campaign that brought international attention to the kidnapping of Nigerian school girls by a terrorist organization.

As Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “What is happening on the ground since Hamas was added to the government is a deterioration of the situation. This is the direct result of allowing a murderous and racist terrorist organization into the government.”

Decent people of all faiths should pray for the safe return of these kidnapped teenagers.  Israelis – and Jewish communities worldwide pray for their safety, and Americans should join in as they pray for the safe return of an American citizen and his friends.
