Last week, the holy city of Hebron hosted over 30,000 visitors who came for a special Shabbat known as Shabbat Chaya Sarah (“the Life of Sarah”). It coincides each year with the reading of the Torah portion where Abraham purchases the Cave of Machpela as a burial site for Sarah.
