Iran’s Fars network has reported the execution of two men for spying on behalf of Israel’s Mossad and the US’s CIA spy agencies.  According to the report, Mohammad Haidari and Kourosh Ahmadi were hanged at dawn on Sunday, the former accused of passing security information and secrets to the Mossad in exchange for payment and the latter for gathering information on behalf of the CIA.  They were sentenced by Tehran’s Revolutionary Court and the sentence was confirmed by Iran’s Supreme Court.

Iran has accused Israel and the US of infiltrating the country and targeting its nuclear scientists.  Both Israel and the US deny allegations of espionage.
