During meetings with the Health Ministry, Israeli PM Naftali Bennett said that since the Israeli government has failed to convince the non-vaccinated to get the shot, he would like to increase sanctions against them, reports 0404.
According to the report, Bennett engaged in a shouting match with Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz who warned the Israeli premier that increasing sanctions may not be legal.
In response, Knesset Member Itamar Ben Gvir (Jewish Power) blasted Bennett’s proposal saying that in a democratic country, one cannot force people to vaccinate.

“If Bennett thinks that we are living in a dictatorship, he is mistaken. We cannot and it is impossible to force citizens to vaccinate” Ben Gvir said.
“I vaccinated and am in favor of vaccinating, but am completely against forced vaccinations. just like the professionals in the Ministry of Health.”
